It’s competition season! We’re gearing up for our biggest event of the year, MESA Day 2026, happening on Friday, May 22 at Portland State University and we’d love for you to be part of it.
MESA Day brings together hundreds of middle and high school students from across Oregon for a full day of innovation, creativity, and connection. The event features our Spring Challenge competition, hands-on engineering activities, an Invention Showcase, and an Awards Ceremony where we celebrate our State Champions—students who will go on to represent Oregon at the MESA National Engineering & Design Competition in Baltimore this June.
The day concludes with a vibrant college and career fair, where students connect with industry professionals and college representatives, and explore the Portland State University campus through guided tours.
