MESA launches Invention Clubs

Oregon MESA is launching its first open enrollment virtual program, Invention Clubs, to support students who, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, have limited access to a MESA Schools Program at their school. Invention Clubs will consist of weekly meetings facilitated by a MESA Invention Club Advisor and assisted by a MESA Mentor. To be eligible to participate in a MESA Invention Club, students must qualify for free/reduced lunch. Underrepresented students in STEM are encouraged to apply, including students of color, girls, and non-binary students. Additionally, student recruitment and selection will be prioritized to former MESA students and those within current MESA regions in Clackamas, Marion, Multnomah, and Washington Counties.
