Community College Programs

The MESA Community College Program (MCCP) has successfully supported students in the US for over 30 years. Oregon MESA supports MCCP students at Portland Community College's Southeast Campus.

During the program, students are engaged in the following:

ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE WORKSHOPS

Students will learn skills that support successful completion of math-based science courses at PCC and beyond.

ACADEMIC ADVISING/COUNSELING:

Students will receive guidance on which courses to take and which classes will transfer to 4-year institutions.

STUDENT STUDY CENTER:

Students compete at MESA Day each year and the top middle and high school teaStudents can use the PCC-SE STEM club space as a welcoming and supporting space to study for classes.

CAREER DEVELOPMENT:

Students learn which skills are valued by industry partners.

INDUSTRY PARTNERSHIPS:

Students will be able to interact with industry leaders and gain valuable insights into corporate culture, soft skills, and effective courses of study.
